Personally, I believe that customers are the lifeblood of any organisation, regardless of whether the organisation is private, public, for-profit or not-for-profit. Without customers, you don’t have an organisation or a business.
When employees are exposed to consistent training, especially training based around the importance of delivering a consistent customer service experience, this type of training improves everybody’s skills on the job and each manager and employee work more professionally and productively towards delivering a high level of customer delight will.
You can probably think of organisations that you go to on a regular basis where their services consistent and high quality. When that occurs, customers will feel the impact of this elevated service, and it will improve their opinion of the organisation.
